I Am Aromatics is a handcrafted, Australian-made range of low-tox essential oils, skincare, body care and self-care products, created by Melissa Gale — a massage therapist and clinical aromatherapist with over 15 years' experience in the health and wellness industry, also trained in remedial massage, acupressure, cupping and reiki.
Every item is sourced and made in small batches in Thirroul, on the Northern Illawarra coast Wollongong area of NSW, using natural and organic essential oils from reputable Australian suppliers. Melissa blends each formula by hand, bringing together years of clinical experience with an intuitive feel for plant-based ingredients.
As a mother of two, Melissa has drawn on her own family's experience with anxiety, eczema, and food and dust intolerances to shape the range — testing and refining blends on the people she loves most before they ever reach a bottle. Part of her mission is to help people use essential oils safely and confidently as part of everyday life, to prevent, maintain and ease symptoms, and to nourish body, mind, soul and spirit.
Alongside the product range, Melissa also offers consultations for custom blending and wellness support — helping you build or refine your own essential oil collection safely, whether it be for personal use, massage, bodywork, yoga or pilates studios.
Our full range is available in person at Thirroul + Co, a unique local store made up of small business owners supporting each other and our community. We also stock the essential oil part of our range at Wholistic Living in Woonona.
